Justice Ali Akbar Qureshi of Lahore High Court (LHC) restrained private schools on Thursday from collecting fees during summer vacation. The court directed the government to advertise the order in the media.

LHC Stop Private Schools To Take Three Months Fees
The judge heard a petition moved by Advocate Sheeba Qaisar. She told the judge the government had already issued a notification stopping private schools from collecting fee for summer vacation. She said schools were still forcing parents to pay the fee.
Education Department officials attending the hearing told the court they had not received any complaints from parents or students on the matter. Justice Qureshi observed that the court would not tolerate concealing of facts. He directed that the government advertise the notification in newspapers.
The judge directed the Education Department to take action against the schools charging fee for summer vacation and submit a report at the next hearing. The court adjourned the hearing until June 2.

Intermediate Part 1 Annual 2015 Exams will start from Tomorrow

Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Multan (BISE)’s Annual 2015 Intermediate  Exams Part 1 will start from saturday (tomorrow).

According to details, 47,769 candidates besides 29,060 regular and 18,709 private candidates would appear in it.

According to officials, 160 examination centres including local and joint centres have been established in Multan and adjoining areas.

BISE Multan Chairman Prof. Riaz Ahmed Hashmee has said that special squad has been arranged which will submit their reports on daily basis while four special counters have also established to facilitate students in the board’s complex.

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Multan was established on 30 March 1968. It is located near Gol Bagh, Gulgasht Colony, Multan.[1] It is responsible to take all Matriculation (Secondary) and Intermediate (Higher Secondary) exams (F.A /F.Sc.) of Multan Division schools and colleges as well as all the private candidates.

Multan board takes the examination from 9th class to 12th Class. Usually the result of these exams are announced as follows:

9th class on 25 August
10th class on 25 July
1st year in October
2nd year in September
Around 240,000 candidates appear for annual matric exam every year in BISE Multan and around 130,000 candidates appear for annual Intermediate exam every year. if we include the supply exams figures in it, we can say that every year the BISE Multan manage the exam process of around 400,000 candidates. And this figure is increasing around 10% yearly.

o   The aspirants along with the valid domicile or local certificates of below mentioned areas registered in PhD program in any Public Sector University of Pakistan are also eligible under the scheme.
o   Ineligible students for this scheme:
o   The aspirants are registered on self-finance basis or part time basis are ineligible
o   Domicile holders of other regions not particular regions in this scheme
o   If Study period go beyond the appropriate duration, then the aspirant expenditure will not be covered under the scheme
o   Achieving any other scholarship under Provincial Government, Foreign donor or any other HEC Program (for example Indigenous Program etc)
o   Any Bachelors or four years Bachelors Program will not be considered.

  • Those students who already register in any university mention above are also eligible for this scholarship grant offers by he HEC.

  • The grants for full program of G & UG seats will continue and new students would finally substitute the seat.

  • For five years degree programs such as Medicine, Pharm-D ,  the grants will be provided for absolute five years.
  • The G & UG seats would be finalized by the institutions, however weightage would be given to UG seats.
  • Every student would be given a monthly grant of Rs 6000  for the full program and for the actual tuition fee as well.
  • This thing kept in mind about the actual no of scholarship offered by the institute that university might adjust the number of scholarships as per actual in order to cover the tuition fee according to allocated grants.
