Free public Wi-Fi to be launched in Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi
Umair Saif announces free public Wi-Fi for Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi:
Chairman Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), Umar Saif via social media announced the project which is just on its final take. According to the updates, free Wi-Fi service will be launched in three cities across Punjab, the service is all set to launch in Lahore and further it will be befitting Multan and Rawalpindi.
The free Wi-Fi service will be providing 11 public places of Lahore, including 12 parks, 17 major market places and 20 college/universities. According to the media updates total PKR 15 cr is being spent for this service only for Lahore.
After setting this service in Lahore, further it will be initiated in Rawalpindi and Multan in several months.
