AFTER BZU, SEVEN MULTAN COLLEGES CLOSED OVER SECURITY THREATS
MULTAN: Hours after Bahauddin Zakariya University was ordered to be closed for two days, Multan city administration shut down seven main colleges of the city owing to security threats.
According to district administration, seven boys and girls colleges have been asked to remain closed till further order.
Separately, education ministry issued notices to 45 schools for their failure to adopt security measures.
Earlier, security agencies and police launched a joint operation in hostels of BZU and asked students to vacate the buildings.
A university spokesman said that BZU would open from Monday.
It is mentioned here that all public and private schools are lying closed till Jan 31.
